About the family

Peter, Ann and Kathryn at Buckingham Palace

XRU outside Gaydon Museum

Meet the family

Peter Hunt is an Agricultural Irrigation Engineer now turned farmer.

His interests are classic cars, in particular Austin Healeys, and long distance target shooting where he finished 8th in the World Championships 2009. He is happiest driving his tractor and attending to the maintenance of the Farm.

Ann Hunt is a retired Veterinary Surgeon and Equestrian Vaulting coach. Her interests revolve round the equestrian world, running the new Easterton Equestrian Activities Centre. Recently retired as Chairperson of British Equestrian Vaulting she passionately believes in the all round value of the sport. Plans are afoot to extend the facilities to enable more vaulting classes to be run.

In the year 2001 Ann spent four intensive months away from home on Foot and Mouth duties and was awarded the MBE for her services.

Together
they share a love of travelling and have embarked on great adventures with the now famous Austin Healey XRU 100, which you can read about in Austin Healey News and 2002 USA Tour

Calvin the farm cat

Ann's favorite horse - Jupiter

Kathryn with Sam

Kathryn Hunt, 29, is their only daughter. Kathryn is an ex-International vaulter and fully qualified Vaulting Coach.

Kathryn works on the farm and runs the Eagles Vaulting Group

Beth and Teal are two Labradors. Sadly Teal has passed away followed this year by Beth at the grand old age of 16, and has recently been replaced by Jenny a vewry naughty Labrador puppy.

Calvin the farm cat completes the domestic family.

There are 16 horses on the farm as well but that is another story.
